Student Life

At Toronto Academy of EMC, we also strive to provide our students with a balanced lifestyle. We endeavour to provide our students with a positive environment and extracurricular activities conducive to academic success.

School Clubs

The soccer club, mathematics club, and chess club... are generated under the school's sponsorship. School clubs create small communities. They attract individuals with similar interests such as sports, English, mathematics, etc. Club activities help students develop a sense of community and teamwork, teaching them how to cooperate to accomplish common objectives.

Holiday Celebration

Host family often celebrates holidays such as New Year, Vietnamese New Year (or China Chinese New Year), Christmas, Halloween... each year. Holiday celebrations are a wonderful opportunity to share the tradition with international students and make them feel like part of the family

There are many ways students can travel to and from school including walking, taking public transportation, or taking a ride to school. The most common way to get to school is by taking TTC (Toronto Transit Commission Transportation), which is the public transport agency that operates buses, streetcars, trains, and subways in Toronto.

Many parking lots are available in front of the school. They are all free, with unlimited access seven days per week, and no restrictions on entering or leaving.

News & Update

Summer Trip

Each summer, Toronto Academy of EMC organizes summer trips for students such as beach trips, camping, BBQ party on the lakeshore, etc. Summer break offers an opportunity to work through any barriers that students may have. The day-to-day work and atmosphere in classrooms can be overwhelming for some students, and a summer break enables them to relax and reflect on the educational experience they had, preparing them for the beginning of a new year in the fall.

Dining On Campus

A large clean lunchroom fully equipped with tables, chairs, refrigerators, and microwaves, in which there are some rules people must follow. Water fountains, water refilling stations, and vending machines are installed in the lunchroom which supply snacks and soft drinks for those students who have demand. In addition, the principal has often treated every student to pizza and burgers... on the first day of the semester in order to create a comfortable atmosphere on the first day of school.

Health & Wellness

All international students attending school in Canada must arrange for health insurance for the duration of their study program. We have been working with many health insurance agencies to supply a variety of health insurance plans. Our health care program provides coverage for eye examinations, dental, medical appliances, etc. The purpose is to provide a better quality of health care for students.
